YOUR NEIGHBOR. YOUR VOICE.
Community Roots + A Family Focused Future.
I’m not a politician - I’m a wife, a working mom, a neighbor, and a dedicated volunteer who loves this city. After years of serving Hoschton behind the scenes, I’m ready to step forward and represent the families who call it home.
Family-Centered
Growth
I believe Hoschton should be a place where families thrive — with safe neighborhoods, quality schools, and opportunities for our kids to succeed.
Community Commitment
No matter how long you’ve called Hoschton home, your voice matters. I’m committed to open dialogue and decisions that reflect our shared values.
Smart Growth
We can grow without losing what makes Hoschton feel like home - with thoughtful development and strong infrastructure.

A HEART FOR HOSCHTON
Meet Mariya Bentz
I’m Mariya (pronounced “Maria”) — a committed member of this community who believes thoughtful leadership starts with listening, showing up, and caring deeply about the place you call home. My husband and I are raising our son here, and like so many of you, we want to see our city grow in ways that protect what makes it special.
Over the past three years, I’ve rolled up my sleeves to serve wherever I can — from organizing community events to helping behind the scenes. I believe in showing up, listening well, and leading with a sense of responsibility to the people who live here. Service isn’t new for me — it’s how I’m wired. I bring that same energy, teamwork, and dedication to everything I do.
Hoschton is growing. That’s inevitable. But I believe we can grow with intention — preserving the charm that makes our city special, while making smart decisions that support strong infrastructure, vibrant neighborhoods, and lasting community connections.
I’m running for City Council because I want Hoschton to be a place where families thrive — where we raise our kids, build strong roots, and feel proud to stay.
